Seng Fatt runs six multi-head embroidery machines and two heat-press stations at a shoplot in Bukit Mertajam. F&B customers bring in their own uniforms or buy blank polos, T-shirts, caps and aprons from the shop's stock, then have logos, outlet names or staff names added.
Logo digitising is done in-house, and a stitched sample is sent for approval before each run starts. Typical orders are 20 to 300 pieces for cafés, bakeries and franchise outlets in the northern states. Embroidery files are kept, so later batches match the first.
