Handmade frozen dim sum from Ipoh for Chinese restaurants, kopitiams and hotel breakfast lines in the north.
Lam Fook is a family dim sum kitchen in Menglembu, Ipoh, that moved from fresh to frozen supply in 2010. A team of about 25 folds har gow, siu mai, char siu bao and lo mai gai by hand each morning, then blast-freezes them the same day.
Most customers are Chinese restaurants and kopitiams in Perak and Penang that want consistent dim sum without a dedicated dim sum chef. Products contain pork and are not halal. Orders go out twice a week on the company's own freezer lorry; Klang Valley customers receive stock through a cold-chain courier.
Why kitchens choose Lam Fook Dim Sum Supply
- Folded by hand and blast-frozen the same day
- Own freezer lorry runs Perak and Penang twice a week
- Contains pork; not suitable for halal kitchens
